WELCOME to the website of Knooren Handcrafted Instruments. Knooren Handcrafted Instruments are made by Jan Knooren in his workshop in Schimmert, the Netherlands. On this page you will find a lot of information about Knooren Basses, which are all handcrafted and made out of the finest wood and electronics money can buy. Knooren basses are beeing used by such players as John Patitucci, Brian Bromberg and Motohiko Hamase. Like the basses, the Knooren Guitars are also made with an eye for detail and perfection. Any type of guitar is available, from Stratocaster models to semi-acoustic nylon-string guitars with MIDI pickups! Every guitar will be custom made.
